Sherman Oaks Antique Mall is the epitome of all things unique in LA. As one of the oldest antique stores in LA, it has been a staple in the local community and a destination for visitors. The mall sells everything from costume jewelry and pre-owned luxury clothing, to vintage décor. It’s a melting pot of cultures, filled with decades of stylish options for everyone. It has been voted “Best Jewelry Store” and is known as LA’s best-kept secret for vintage clothing. Sherman Oaks constantly restocks by purchasing single items, collections and sometimes entire estates. The mall is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park
Enjoy the outdoors while in Sherman Oaks with a trip to the Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park. In this park, you’ll find everything from basketball and tennis courts, to picnic areas and an indoor swimming pool. The on-site recreation center offers even more activities and event space for visitors.
Sherman Oaks Tuesday Farmers’ Market
Located in the parking lot of the Westfield Fashion Square Mall (another great place to visit), the Sherman Oaks Farmers’ Market is a local hotspot for fresh produce, homemade desserts and more. Visit on any Tuesday from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. to peruse goodies straight from local farms.
The One Up Bar
Inside The One Up, you’ll find creative drinks, handcrafted food and a slew of retro arcade games. The bar is situated on Ventura Boulevard and open Mon – Fri, 4 p.m. – 2 a.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. – 2 a.m. Take advantage of Happy Hour every day 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. And keep in mind that guests under the age of 21 will not be seated after 7 p.m. A wide variety of arcade games are available to play, free to all customers.
